Youth Empowerment/ Education
We empower the youth of Lebanon through educational programs that hone their skills while cultivating a sense of community, respect, and peace.
Volunteerism
We develop active citizens by engaging the youth of Lebanon in volunteering projects that have an impact on local communities while cultivating a sense of belonging, trust, and accountability.
Humanitarian Aid
In response to the economic collapse of Lebanon, we distribute food parcels to individuals or families in need, regardless of their nationality, gender, social status, or religion.
About Us
The Core Values of our Leadership
Our impact does not depend solely on the projects we run but, most importantly, on the values that guide us. Our operation is based on the principles of:
Peace
In a region so troubled, cultivating a sense of peace and unity is, perhaps, our utmost priority.
Equality
Opportunities are offered to all potential beneficiaries equally, without any discrimination in terms of nationality, religion, or gender.
Respect
All beneficiaries or partners are treated with the utmost respect, especially in the delicate conditions inherent in humanitarian aid.
Our Projects
We are currently working on:
WFP-funded "School Snacks 2020-21" Program
DCL is the cooperating partner of the World Food Programme (WFP) for the distribution of school snacks (or food parcels) to 14,000 students (or their families) in 25 schools in North Lebanon for the school year 2020-2021.
Ongoing Food Parcel distribution
Given the rapid deterioration of the Lebanese economy that has plunged more than 50% of the country’s population into poverty, we are constantly raising funds and distributing food parcels to individuals or families in need.
Life Academy Project
The Life Academy project has been running since 2017. It focuses on teaching high-school students methods that can help them to deal with anxiety and fear, as well as improve their self-esteem and confidence, and develop a series of soft skills.
